Philips has done their homework! Philips has spent a considerable amount of time researching the health-care industry and has produced impressive results. This is the 3rd generation of Philips SpeechMikes and there have been several enhancements to this device.

The Philips SpeechMike III Slide Switch professional microphone gives you total control of your PC from the palm of your hand and ensures the highest level of user comfort. Manage dictations, presentations and your PC using the ergonomically designed slide switch. In addition to an optical trackball mouse and a scroll wheel, the device features programmable function keys, customizable to your individual preferences.

This new unit boasts Dragon speech-recognition compatibility with the main features already programmed and ready to use. Nuance Communications, a leading supplier of speech solutions, awarded the SpeechMike III with five dragons--the highest possible accolade for speech-recognition compatibility.

With the optional SpeechExec Pro, you can dictate and send the recorded file to transcription for typing. SpeechExec Pro Dictate provides you with a dictation-management platform that unites voice recording, file routing, and speech-recognition interfacing in one seamless solution. Dictation files and documents can be automatically transferred via a company network, sent by email, or uploaded onto an FTP server, depending on your requirements.
