Automatic Personal Logger Software

 


This software can be used to automatically record incoming telephone calls right to your PC, so you never miss a call. When set in voice-activated recording mode, the recording starts when the phone receiver is lifted off the hook and ends when the receiver is hung up. A log file (with a name that consists of the current date and time) will automatically be created when the recording is activated.

The recorder software can also be run in stealth mode; this starts recording by default and will start in hidden mode. Each time Personal Logger is started it will run without displaying its splash screen or main menu. It will also not show in the task bar, and it will automatically start recording. Use this mode when complete discretion is necessary.

Personal Logger also makes it easy to review your recorded log files. Its playback mode lets you adjust the playback speed and volume, mark important logs protected, and delete selected logs. You can also purchase our Pedal Magic software to use a foot pedal to transcribe along with the Log Player.

Recorded files use standard .wav encoding.

Personal Logger runs as a Standard Edition until a Stationary License Key is entered into the Upgrade menu, or until a Floating License Key is connected to your computer. The Standard Edition limits record time to 1 minute per log file and disables the advanced features. The Advanced Edition has no record-time limits and enables the advanced features. After the sofware is installed and you are satified with the basic operation, email us the with your lock number from the upgrade page and we will then email back the licence key to unlock the advanced features. No refunds are allowed on this software after this key is sent.

Note: Personal Logger keeps each recording file on the local PC's hard drive for a given period of time. The default setting is 0 unlimited days (purge inactive). The minimum of 250 MB is determined by a user averaging 208 minutes of recording retention. A higher retention period would require more than the minimum stated here. You need 1.2 MB for every minute of recording stored.
