Manual Call Logger Software

 


This software can be used to record incoming telephone calls, can be used as a PC conference recorder, and it can also be used to re-record prerecorded dictation from another source such as voicemail or cassette-based devices; it can upload any of these sources right to your PC.

Recording is manually activated by the user, and job demographics can be set up for different users (user name, job number, department, secretary, work type, subject number); this allows job information and routing possibilities.

Recorded files use standard .ew2 or .wav encoding, so your transcriptionist or secretary can use their favorite audio PC player to play the files, or the files can be transcribed using our iChannel Player or Voice Solutions Server (purchased separately).

Requirements:
  • Intel Pentium 3
  • 256 MB RAM
  • Sound card with a microphone (input) jack
  • Hard drive space 250 MB
Note: Call Logger keeps a backup copy of each dictation file on the local PC's hard drive for a given period of time. The default setting is 7 days. The minimum of 250 MB is determined by a user averaging 30 minutes of dictation with a backup retention of the default 7 days. A higher retention period or more than 30 minutes a day would require more than the minimum stated here. You need 1.2 MB for every minute of dictation stored.
